Established in 2020, byMolly started their humble beginnings with Molly Payne and Charlotte Drew, a team of two attempting to navigate their way through Covid19. Whilst starting small, delivering Molly’s famous Roast Dinners and Beef Wellingtons, they were quick to realise the impact fantastic food was having on the locked down public. Chef Patron Molly Payne started her professional cheffing journey at the age of 12 years old when she wrote a letter to the owner of a famous Leeds French Bistro. She asked him for a job beginning as a very junior commie chef, climbing her way through the ranks she was head chef by the age of 19 years old. At 21 Molly won an Oliver Award for Best chef being the youngest and only female winner in 2017. By the age of 23 Molly’s success soared, winning a cheffing competition judged by Gordon Ramsey. After working in several different restaurants as head chef, Molly, like the rest of the hospitality industry, was struck by the effects of Corona Virus forcing her to stay at home. This is where byMolly was launched.
Molly and her extremely talented mixologist partner, Charlotte began with a drop off service and the success of byMolly soared. Charlotte’s expertly curated cocktails compliment Mollys dishes beautifully. Now a successful private chef and pop up bar company, they’ve mastered the luxury of an at home dinner service. Using only the freshest and locally sourced produce, even winning an award “Highly Commended Best Use of Local produce” 2022, they will create an unforgettable exclusive experience for everyone. With over 15 years in the industry, Molly and Charlotte are just as, if not more passionate than ever to create beautifully crafted bespoke menus for any kind of event.
We pride ourselves on always providing the highest quality food and service. as much of our produce as possible is sourced from local, independent suppliers. We supply all our meat from Sykes House Farm, one of the regions top suppliers. Our fish is sourced from Ramsdens in Leeds Kirkgate Market. Chef Molly also forages a lot of her own ingredients, most noticeably, the wild garlic she uses in many of her dishes.
